Apple getting cocky?

According to Silicon.com, Intel Macs are “unlikely to be able to run Windows Vista”. There are even some borderline inflammatory remarks from an Apple engineer who refers to Vista as a “legacy” OS. Heh. Apparently there is some speculation that EFI support won’t be available when Vista is first released. The Silicon.com article mentions that a Microsoft panelist made this comment, but I haven’t seen any independent confirmation. There are many conflicting reports though, so I plan to stay tuned…
