YouTube’s Quick Capture feature- does it change the landscape of video blogging?

As reported by Jacqui Cheng on ars technica, YouTube has released a new feature called Quick Capture that enables users with webcams to directly upload to YouTube without using any video capture or encoding tools outside of the web browser.
