My name is Randy Holloway, welcome to my web site.
I’ve worked at Microsoft for the past five years and have focused on a variety of technologies, including SQL Server, SharePoint and more recently Windows Azure. I have a passion for the company and our technology ever since I first used Windows 3.1. My job at Microsoft involves working with a few large enterprise customers based in the St. Louis area. Most of that time is spent advising customers on technology strategy and the best approaches to consume, deploy and adopt Microsoft solutions. Prior to working for Microsoft, I worked at a variety of firms (legal, manufacturing, consulting) in the St. Louis area in the areas of software development, systems architecture, ERP systems implementations and information technology management/organizational leadership. Presently, I live in St. Peters, Missouri and have lived in the St. Louis area for over 10 years. Prior to St. Louis, I’ve lived all over the United States, including Virginia, Florida, South Carolina, New Jersey and Washington State. I’m originally from Columbus, Mississippi, the birthplace of Tennessee Williams and the city where Memorial Day originated shortly after the American Civil War. I’m a Mississippian at heart and most of my family still resides in Mississippi, with a few outliers in Tennessee, Georgia and southern Missouri. My own family is incredible and I’m so lucky to have them. My wife Donna and I have been together for 14 years, and we have two great children. A note from the past! I bumped across ‘Randy Holloway Unfiltered’ after talking about a book you and Andrej were working on. Couldn’t pass up the opportunity to leave a note.
